We started with a driftwood planter that was pre-made with a space for soil, and filled it up. You can also hollow out your own found driftwood if you're feeling ambitious! Fill it up to the top, so that your succulents are sitting above the wood line, to create a super full looking planter.

We've alternated round and spiky shapes, as well as light and dark colours, to add interest. The plants are spaced out to leave room for natural small stones that really highlight the beach feeling. A perfect west coast planter.
